Date/Time From:

21st October 2019

Date/Time To:

Approx 1st June 2020

Operators Affected:

Arriva North East

Route(s) Affected:

64/64A and X93

Passengers are advised that with effect from Monday 21st October 2019, Service 64/64A and X93 will be required to operate to a long term diversion, lasting for around 32 weeks whilst roadworks are undertaken.

Service 64/64A - Middlesbrough to Grangetown/Redcar Ings Farm

All journeys will unfortunately be required to omit Middlesbrough Road between Cargo Fleet Lane and Southbank and will instead operate via the A66, non-stop between Middlesbrough and South Bank.

Passengers who normally board or alight Service 64/64A at the affected stops should instead catch Service 64/64A from South Bank St Peters or Service 62/62A on the A1085 Trunk Road.

Service X93 - Middlesbrough to Guisborough, Whitby & Scarborough

Whilst Service X93 will still be able to observe all stops, it will operate to a diversional route between Middlesbrough Bus Station and Cargo Fleet Lane, Brambles Farm. This route will differ depending on times of the day and congestion, but passengers who are unfamiliar with the area should not be alarmed.

There are no changes to the timetables for either service, so normal scheduled times will continue to apply.
