Drop In Durham Tees Valley Airport Revenues

Durham Tees Valley Airport has seen a fall in annual passenger numbers which has contributed to a slight drop in revenues, although the decline was "anticipated" as changes were made to the business model in a bid to cut costs.

DTVA stayed in the red but cut its pre-tax losses from £4.08m to £2.10m, while passenger numbers fell from 154,112 to 141,320.

For the year to 31 March 2015, the airport reported turnover of £4.53m, compared with £4.57m for the 12 months before.
