New Winter Train Timetables Reminder
We would like to remind passengers that the new Winter timetables came into place for all rail companies from 10th December 2017.

The main changes to look out for include...
The 07:35 CrossCountry Newcastle to Glasgow Central will start back at York (06:25), calling additionally at Darlington (06:55) and Durham (07:13)
The 19:00 CrossCountry Glasgow Central to Newcastle will extend to York (22:35), calling additionally at Durham (21:50) and Darlington (22:09)
A new hourly service on the Northern route between Darlington and Bishop Auckland, Monday to Saturday. This replaces the previous two hourly service during the day in the previous timetable.
On Sundays, Northern will run Morpeth to Newcastle - 2 hourly local services for Manors and Cramlington. There will be more services to / from Morpeth with the majority originating / terminating at the Metro Centre.
Also on Sundays, Northern will run an all year round Sunday service on the Middlesbrough-Whitby line, with an hourly service between Middlesborough and Nunthorpe.
On Transpennine routes, on Mondays to Fridays Middlesbrough will gain a new late evening service. A new later service will departure Middlesbrough at 22:50 for York, calling at Thornaby at 22:55, Yarm at 23:05, Northallerton at 23:23 and York at 23:54. In addition, the current 19:22 Liverpool Lime Street to York service will be extended to Middlesbrough Monday to Fridays. This newly extended services will call at Northallerton at 21:58, Yarm at 22:12, Thornaby at 22:21 and Middlesbrough at 22:32.
Please note timing changes and route amendments (especially on Transpennine for the leaf fall) have been changed on all routes and your advised to check your journey before you set off.
