New X9 & X10 Network From Go North East

Go North East are making exciting changes to the X9 & X10 routes running between Teesside & Tyneside from 3rd September 2017

The popular service will see brand new British built buses, with a new colour scheme making them feel more modern and stand out in the traffic.

The new buses will have 77 comfy leather seats compared to the current buses which have just 73 seats. They will include space to add tables upstairs, great for commuters who want to do some work or have a morning coffee before they hit the office. The usual new bus features will be onboard too like having free onboard wifi and USB connections to charge your phones and tablets, next stop announcements and monitors.

Go North East are taking this chance to update the timetable to improve reliability and buses will run from early morning till late at night, allowing additional time at each end to assist with service reliability following delays on the A19. An additional evening journey will depart Newcastle for Middlesbrough at 22:04 on days where Newcastle are playing at home in the 2017-2018 football season (check with GNE before travelling).

But the excitement don't stop there, from 3rd September 2017, you have a new destination on the X10, Dalton Park. The retail park located just off the A19 only adds a few minutes to the journey time and gives shoppers a greater choice of destinations to shop along the X10 route. It also creates links to Tyneside and Teesside for people living in Seaham, Murton and surrounding areas. With the Wear Xpress service X6, Black Cats service 61 and indiGo services 202 & 265 serving Dalton Park as well.
