Three New Routes By Loganair At Newcastle

Regional airline, Loganair, last month announced 2 new routes from Newcastle International Airport and 1 more this month.

The Scottish airline is introducing flights to the Norwegian coastal city of Bergen and the Channel Islands destination, Guernsey from the North East. This month it also announced an extra route to Newquay Cornwall airport taking the total from the regional airport to six.

They will commence year-round four-times weekly services to Bergen on the 27th April. Departing Newcastle 09:55 and arriving in Bergen at 12:35 on Tuesdays & Thursdays returning from Bergen at 13:05 arriving into Newcastle at 13:40. On Fridays & Sundays, the flight departs Newcastle at 08:30 arriving into Bergen at 11:05 with the return departing at 11:40 and getting back into Newcastle at 12:15. Fares start at £89.99 one way.

Seasonal Saturday flights to Guernsey will launch on 23rd May taking you weekly through to 5th September; departing Newcastle at 09:00 arriving at 10:30 with the return journey departing Guernsey at 16:00 and arriving back into Newcastle at 17:30 with fares from £74.99 one way.

The Newquay Cornwalll route is a brand new year-round service of four flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Additionally, Saturday services will operate from May to September and there will be additional flights on Tuesday and Thursday during the school holidays in July and August, taking the service up to daily.

The airline bases two Embraer Regional Jets at Newcastle and employs over 20 team members at the north-east airport and all fares include a complimentary checked baggage allowance and in-flight refreshments.
