A Range Of New Routes For Teesside Airport

Teesside Airport has great news for passengers with the introduction of not 1 but 6 new routes starting in 2020.

The new routes to/from Teesside International will be Belfast City, Cardiff, Dublin, Isle of Man, London City and Southampton; they will be flown by Eastern Airways, in partnership with Flybe.

These latest additions to the route network come just 1 year after the airport came back into public hands as part of a 588.2m investment plan by the Tees Valley Combined Authority.

The new services will start from February...

Cardiff – Monday 10th February
Belfast – Monday 9th March
Dublin – Monday 9th March
Southampton – Monday 9th March
London City – Monday 27th April
Isle of Man – Saturday 30th May

Additionally, the Aberdeen route, also ran by Eastern Airways, will increase the amount of flights per week from 10th February 2020.

During the announcement of the new routes, Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said he was "delighted" to make the announcement but "This isn’t job done, this is the next stage in our 10-Year Rescue Plan to secure the future of Teesside International. In fact, it’s only the first phase of Eastern’s multi-year commitment, with plenty of opportunity to expand and increase flights in the future."

The new routes will be on sale shortly via Flybe, click here to checkout fares & tickets soon.
