British Airways Terminates Its Partnership With Tesco Clubcard
The flag carrier for the UK has broke off its partnership with Tesco Clubcard from 18th January 2021.
Clever shoppers are currently able to swap £2.50 worth of clubcard points for 600 BA Avios miles to use against flights and holidays with British Airways but the deal will be switched off from 18th January 2021 after the airline chose to leave the scheme.
Tesco customers who have have their Clubcard points automatically converted into Avios were also told this will stop from 22nd October 2020.
“After the cut-off date for your November statement, from 23 October up to and including 18 January 2021, you can continue to convert your points manually online via the Tesco website,” British Airways explains on their website.
If you’ve collected Avios through the Clubcard but haven’t received them, you’ll need to contact British Airways Executive Club and fill out a missing Avios claim form online by 31st March 2021 so it can then investigate any missing Avios.
Tesco and British Airways added that membership to the Executive Club remains unaffected by the reward scheme closure.
