Newcastle Airport Announce 10 Point Covid-19 Safety Plan

Newcastle Airport are preparing to ramp up operations ready for the popular Summer getaway by announcing a 10 point plan to help keep both passengers and staff safe from Covid-19.

As the world continues to battle this devasting virus, and the UK being very hard hit by Covid-19; the health & safety of everybody really has never been so important. Fighting the biggest public health crisis in living memory has mean't every single business in the UK has to adapt, with the travel & hospitality industry one of the hardest hit.

As we all come to terms with a "new normal" for now, Newcastle Airport has announced a 10 point plan to help keep everybody safe when travelling through one of our regions airports.

The new plan includes social distancing, wearing PPE for both passengers & staff, increased cleaning regimes and good hand hygene.

The Airport is expecting government guidance for aviation to be published in the near future and will update any measures in line with this guidance, so things may change.
