Go North East Increase Services Today

Most services are already running to timetables similar to their pre-coronavirus times, and from today Go North East are making further increases to their network to help support local shops, businesses, leisure venues, schools and colleges as the Covid-19 restrictions are eased and people get back to some form of normal.

Services will return to their normal evening and Sunday frequencies, making it even easier to reconnect with the faces and places you love.

From this date, the below services will also change...

CityLink 58: From Saturday 5th September, the route will be changed in Newcastle city centre, so that the service runs via Central Motorway, Hole in the Wall to Market Street East. The service will start from Market Street East instead of New Bridge Street.

Durham Cathedral Bus: This service will be reintroduced from Saturday 5th September.

Night Bus N21: This service will be reintroduced from Saturday 5th September, running every week in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings.

X-Lines X9/X10: Go North East are introducing coaches to the service. From the change date there will be some temporary coaches running on the service until the newer coaches arrive. There will also be a change to stops in Newcastle with the services will no longer serve Eldon Square Bus Station, instead using the bus stop opposite St Andrew’s Church, near The Gate.

X-Lines X45/X46: Sunday journeys will be fully reinstated on services X45 and X46, to replace the V3 and V4 Sunday journeys.
